Limon
Limon, Colorado, also known as the “Hub City”of Eastern Colorado is the largest city in Lincoln County. It is referred to as the “Hub City” because I-70, U.S. Hwys 24, 40, 287, and State Hwys 71 and 94 all interest through the town. With a growing population around 2,000 people, The town has many business opportunities while still having a small town feel. It is a great place to raise kids and family. The town has on main K-12 school – Limon Public School. Go Badgers! The 2A classification school’s average classroom size is around 25+/- kids. There is also the Limon Child Development Center that offers a preschool programs.
There are numerous motels, hotels, restaurants, and fast food businesses. The heart of the town is only an hour away from the outskirts of Denver and Colorado Springs. Therefore, the town is a very popular place to live for commuters. This allows commuters to take advantage of rural living, while also allowing them the opportunity to keep their jobs in the city.
