Genoa
Genoa, Colorado, with a population around 200, is the highest point from Kansas City to Denver with an elevation of 5604 ft. The main attraction of Genoa is The Wonder Tower aka Genoa Tower. Once a souvenir shop and gas station, this tower advertised that six states could be seen from the top. The tower is currently closed and in the process of being restored. Additionally, other attractions in the town are the Post Office, a grain elevator, Genoa Café, multiple RV parks, town park and town hall. The town has a consolidated school with the Town of Hugo. Therefore, the K-12 Genoa-Hugo Public School is located 10 miles south of Genoa in Hugo.
